Trouble is, it's the old turnfile but it's listed as Turn 22 in the email.
Saved it to a different folder, opened it, it was fine. Weird.

4 Venetian Heavy Cavalry led by Garibaldi defeated 5 German Knights in Provence. The Bavarians ran.

I still have Garibaldi left; maybe I'll march him to Munich.

How the hell did you land in Prussia, Gotts?!?! Fantastic move!
I saw the opening and figured that Bavaria would stay true to form -- all game long he has singled out one enemy for his special attention and currently that is you. Hence, he loses Prussia, Tyrolia and Augsburg.

And thanks.

Excellent! I was pulling for him to survive, though I did not see it as possible. Too funny. Go Garibaldi!

So, Duke Radolph of Saxony has abdicated. That's too bad, he's a good player, a nice guy, and this will radically alter the game.

Turns are in for real for me. Hungary successfully stopped the Khan's attempt to blitzkrieg, but there's still a lotta Horde troops in my lands...

EDIT - How the hell did you land in Prussia, Gotts?!?! Fantastic move!
I did not attempt to blitzkrieg. Your pathetic screening forces could not have stopped me if I had wanted to blitzkrieg through.

Garibaldi is hands down the most heroic commander of this game. Routing a force six times his strength only goes to show why every third male child in Provence is being christened Garibaldi.

I hear that commander Brandenburg's Bavarian knights are mounted on Lippizaners, most precious of steeds, and well worth saving.

Garibaldi would still have one Heavy Cavalry with him if you hadn't annoyingly sent in one Light Cavalry into Provence on phase 3. After Garibaldi has single handedly destroyed the Bavarian "army" in Saluzzo (if he can catch them), I expect you to turn over Savoy as compensation for this affront.

I lost another light cavalry unit killing a Bavarian knight in Saluzzo. If they'd had somewhere to run to I expect they would. Now I expect them to head for Lombardy. They must look quite a sight, chargers prancing about amidst a forest of siege engines.

Garibaldi is welcome to live under protective custody in Savoy for as long as he chooses, with a state pension, even, but regrettably the province must remained annexed to Aragon.

Does this mean there's a new player or a bot?

Currently a bot. I don't know if or when this will change.

The way I heard it, that horseman just wanted to watch. He had a case of hero worship for Garibaldi, but Garibaldi saw the Aragonese flag and went berserk and charged.

LOL!

He must be a ninja. He has Real Ultimate Power and he seems to like to flip out and cut peoples' heads off.

Ninjas can kill anyone they want! Ninjas cut off heads ALL the time and don't even think twice about it. These guys are so crazy and awesome that they flip out ALL the time. I heard that there was this ninja who was eating at a diner. And when some dude dropped a spoon the ninja killed the whole town. My friend Mark said that he saw a ninja totally uppercut some kid just because the kid opened a window.

Garibaldi will be retiring after these last victories; I intend to e-mail the GM and tell him not to send me a turnfile. Not much a Commander without an army can do and why pay the two bucks?
