I had thought not. Perhaps I'm in for a nasty surprise. Although it would take several turns for that threat to materialize. Around turn 32, I guess.
l am not interested in attacking you through Angora Rob. l prefer a different approach, and by then you could have enough navy etc to make that pointless.

Attacking me at all is pointless. You have shamed yourself by siding with the infidels. The history books will refer to you as "The Jackal of Jebel-Toubkal", if they refer to you at all.

Thanks for the quick reply 🙂

Nice to see Saladin didn't go out without giving a good fight, hehe.

History is written by the winners.

Indeed. I'm sure I remember the glorious battle where El Gato and Rodrigo the Discombobulated held fast with only 200 men in the face of a massive Mongolian horde of 10000, reducing it to a mere 200 men before being taken down.

Rodrigo's guitar replaces the horn of Roland. You can still hear it echo in the valleys of Austria...

l think there were closer to 40,000 Mongols and only 19 of your soldiers Liam.

I am unaware of any messages on this matter. Are you able to construct a port in Angora these days? That would be very bad if so.

I'll have to hang my cartographer.
I think one can construct a port at any seaside town. You know, you can check this, Rob. Just go to Angora and see if you can build a port.

In game MN3, I am the Emperor of Byzantium. I own Angora in that game and it has a fine harbor.

If the winners DO write the histories, then I expect to also hear about Donkey Oatey's accordion. The haunting strains of "Lady of Spain" are what added impetus to the Norwegian's lemmingesque march off the cliffs of Scania.

Yeah, it does appear that you can build a port there. That's too bad.

It's not too late to reward your troops with some sea-side frolics. Get building!

Well as l said earlier Great Khan, my intention is not to build a port in Angora and attack your home provinces that way.

I toyed with the idea very early in the game when I first captured all of Asia Minor. I decided I already had too many enemies, and my border with the Horde was static the entire game until the fall of Roum.
