Is the party BYOB? Should I bring a dish to pass?

New map is done. Sicily, Norway, Roum, gone. All gone.

You'll be short of guests.

A fascinating thing about the current situation is that it's all about tactics, with diplomacy having fallen to near insignificance (unless there are things I don't know about). It's a great way to practice combat in the AGE Games system.

EDIT - Anyone know what the upkeep on a Commander is? I am thinking of retiring Henrik. He did well against Venice, but he really has very little talent. Maybe he could become a merchant. He's good with horses and ships.

Well, how about we rectify that?

Hungary, would you consider modifying your requirement that you end the game with more gold than the Khan in the interest of game play and sportsmanship?

I suggested something along these lines before, but perhaps you missed it?

He hadn't bothered to contact me. I assumed he didn't mind fighting it out. He made this game very difficult for me; I could never trust him and that caused me a lot of problems. Why should I do him any favors?

I'd take it as a personal favor to me, frankly. There is only a limited amount of enjoyment in grinding down an opponent in a five on one.

Have you tried asking the Khan to give me my lands back and surrender enough land until the terms of our deal are satisfied? You're at war with the Horde, not me. Why are you asking me to help the Mongols instead of the other way around?

EDIT - How about this for a solution:

I am given by whoever owns them the provinces that we agreed I would own. That would be 12 gold worth from Morocco, bringing me up to 113. I'd get 40 from the Horde via this, which would bring me to 153 and him down to 261. Posen and Austria would cancel out (I am giving Posen to Aragon as it's not mine by our agreement). Then the Horde gives me, in addition to the territories in our agreement, 55+ gold worth of provinces.

If the Horde does not accept these terms, then he's the one forcing you to waste time grinding him down, not me. You agreed to these terms, so you are in theory supporting my suggested solution. Of course you four could just go back on your word. There wouldn't be anything I could do about it.

Give it up; you did virtually nothing of consequence for the entire game and now are holding up the end of it even though you can't win.

Remind me how many provinces you took after turn 7? As far as I remember you sat around waiting for for Bavaria to attack you.

I hear a long departed ghost talking! I guess I must be a necromancer.

Your memory sucks; I made amphibious attacks on Hungary and Roum, the latter of which broke their power once and for all.

EDIT: I also destroyed Arles after turn 7.
