Give it up; you did virtually nothing of consequence for the entire game and now are holding up the end of it even though you can't win.
"Winning" gives one a certain amount of points, which are in theory what one is trying to earn in these games. They represent how successful you are. However, not dying also gives points, IN PROPORTION TO THE GOLD VALUE OF PROVINCES OWNED. Thus, I have something to gain - the same thing the winners do; points.

I realize that but if I was your "allies", I'd just declare victory and get it over with. It's obvious who the winning coalition is going to be; what do they gain by dragging the game out just so you get more points than Rob? You certainly never showed much loyalty to any of your allies; why should anyone go so far out of their way to placate you when it gains them nothing?

You'd break a deal? You always bragged about how you never do that. I guess we know better now.

A deal with you is worthless as you never hesitated to break your agreements. Of course, I would have never made such a stupid deal to begin with; you needed their help desperately not the other way around.

Hungary's forces were essential; that they wither away for lack of funding, unacceptable; the codicil he tacked onto the agreement, annoying, but understandable. I should add a sonorous Latin tag at this point but nothing springs to mind.

Since he was already being attacked by the Horde, you needed no deal to get his forces to engage them.

It was a question of ensuring their continued presence. If they melted away for lack of upkeep, they wouldn't have been much use against the Horde. It's a question of about 3500CF / 150 + HP. I think Hungary is just about getting to the stage where he can afford to pay for his own upkeep...

So, he got gold to pay his upkeep, too? Along with a promise that you guys wouldn't declare victory until he had more Gold Province Value than the Horde? And you got ...... what exactly? An agreement that he would fight the Horde which he was doing anyway?

Well, I also got Venice, which was nice.

Wow! Quite a battle in Transylvania. Too bad the Mongols ran away. Funny how the Khan babbled about Magyar "cowardice" in his Proclamation as his men died and/or ran for their lives.

I never proposed breaking the deal, ATY. You should go back and look at what I originally proposed. It included the Horde returning former Hungarian provinces (which are mainly back in your hands now). What I proposed was changing the deal. The fact that I had agreed to it is why I did not unilaterally decide to drop it. Since you were the one to lose out on points, I was asking YOU.

And there is more than points at stake for some of us. If it was all about points, I would not have turned over Warzaw to you. I would not have turned over Uppsala and Birka to Castile. And I would not now feel like a complete rookie for screwing up my intended transfer of Riga to Castile. Some of us like to play with a certain sense of honor. My personal sense of honor is a little uncomfortable with continuing to pursue a 5 on 1 assault on Mongol lands, although not as uncomfortable as I would be in directly breaking a deal that I was instrumental in crafting.

Take a deep breath. We're still here for you.

Leader on points: Morocco! Excellent work. Now I think it's time to prepare the spectular operation that we have been discussing.

My Guards performed well enough in Warsaw, exchanging their lives for a considerable number of Boyar guards. The Golden Horde's borders are becoming increasingly porous.

It seems the braggadocio level of your allies is quite high for such an empty "acheivement".

Some of us tried to play "with a certain sense of honor" and were summarily castigated for our efforts.

Go figure.
