Can I already ask to push the deadline back to sunday evening? I'm not sure it'll make a difference for me, but it'll keep my hopes up to come up with three entries for this round.

I doubt I'll come up with something new for this round (new night shots are out of the question, there's no night anymore...), but I should have enough to choose from in my archives.
I started a shooting session a couple of nights ago, to try to imitate a shot I'd seen. Turns out I couldn't, but I did get some pics, which I realised I could do once I started experimenting.
So get playing!!!

And who needs night! 🙂 Slap on a red #25 filter and you can make black and white look like it's night time and cut out almost a full stop of light. Try a neutral density filter, use a low ISO/ASA setting with a small aperture, or try a circular-polarized filter. You can make it work. 🙂
Originally posted by pinkthunderI don't have any filters. And it's much too late to try something with my SLR, so I would have to use the digital camera which limits the possibilities further. And I don't have any ideas whatsoever. And I have a lot of extended exposures in my archive. So there.
Yeah, you can do it.

One thing I do like about your competitions, Nordlys, is that it gets me thinking creatively again. I've already got plenty of old shots that qualify for most of the competitions, but I like having a reason to make new ones. I have a lot of time on my hands, though, so it's easy for me to go out with that purpose. For something like extended exposure, not having filters--and sun all day--could pose a problem. But even shots at 1/15th of a second qualify, so just about anything's possible in my opinion. I'm sure you've got some fantastic extended exposure shots to turn in, but I hope you find some creativity, Nordlys. Make something new--you can do it! 🙂
Originally posted by pinkthunderYou are right, of course. I have had a lot of fun with the last two rounds (and with the "Self" round which never actually happened), and I have tried things I otherwise wouldn't have tried. But I am at a complete loss when it comes to "Extended Exposure". I have absolutely no idea what to do with that theme.
