I just cracked this game. When you begin, make a right turn just before the blocks start spawning then hold down right.
The blocks will not be able to spawn fast enough to get in your way and you also bypass the gateways as well, you can play the game for as long as your finger is able to sustain this way - I got a score of 150,000 by this method ...[text shortened]... to know there is only one other colour change after the black blocks and it is not all that bad.

My best was a bit over 129000. At least I am not in danger to go blind...
Edit: I just got to 429485 by keeping my finger on the right arrow all the time shortly after going through the first structure. 😛
