Honor Blackman, the first femal star of the Avengers has died aged 94.

I was fascinated with the series when being young, but coudn't get the taste back when watching a rerun a few years back.
Avengers - is that the show that Dianna Rigg had a lead role in eventually? I think so.

And moonbus says Goldfinger. I remember Shirley Bassey belting that theme song out in 1964. wow. She actually did three bond movie theme songs.

Former Det Ch Supt Leonard "Nipper" Read has died at the age of 95.
He was responsible for solving The Great Train Robbery and putting
the Kray twins behind bars. He was also the inspiration for Monty Python's
"Snapper of the Yard" the man who caught the Piranha Brothers.

John Prine, folk singer and song writer, at age 73, of complications due to coronavirus.

I am truly saddened. He was one of the greats.
