The irish Government tried to write that defence into law recently, and in the process had to release all offenders who tried to use that as an excuse.....quite a ballsup, by all accounts.

does anyone else see this behavior as a result to pornography? also possibly they arent able to get anyone to have sex with them? i think these people need help, mentally, rather than to be humiliated on t.v.; also they could use a hooker 😕

They don't want adult hookers or to watch adult pornography. They are meeting children in chat rooms and not saying "this room is for adults" but rather propositioning them and enticing them to meet. Apples and oranges.
