One thing with Trump is he likes to make his hand-wringing opponents look silly; so he spouts off all that bluster some months ago and it’s ‘chum in the water’ to his detractors. Behind the scenes the diplomats and negotiators do the real work and then Trump gets to say “told you so”.
Over here Starmer made a big pompous statement in the Commons ...[text shortened]... buy Greenland!!” etc.
As Torunn said; it looks like a good deal for everyone, including Europe.
But we won't discuss this. It is about the prediction.

I think that would have to happen pretty soon, because of the mid-term elections coming up in November.
