Why do you guys all not like the Hail To The Thief album???
I think it's their second best album ever! Excellent songs the lot of them, but 2+2=5, Sail To The Moon and There There are the best songs on the album. Only the consistent brilliance of OK Computer is better.

I'm listening to the In Rainbows album now and it's again a completely new thing that the guys are trying. Sounds pretty cool so far, but I'm not sure where I'll rank it yet. As one other here said: "Time will tell".

ah yes, what a clever guy that guy is 😛

i liked hail to the thief, played it in work today. its just not as good as the others.

you're right about ok computer, one of the best albums ever made but my favorite radiohead album is amnesiac.

the bends is a classic but maybe a little too polished.

kid a would be my least favorite, i still like it a lot, just not as much as the others. which is strange because amnesiac and kid a came from the same sessions.

General opinion and fact don't necessarily correlate.

rolling stone magazine has the only pole that i've say that doesn't have in in the top 10.

all the opinion pools i've seen do.

i would rather go by a public opinion poll than by a few suits.

Poles piles or pools,.; Who gives a shat? Never heard of a trend? Mr Blobby for example.
Yeah they did a few great tunes but the mass of it was whiney waileee poo.

a trend that lasts 10 years?

one hell of a trend

fact is ok computer is a great (one of the greats) album which has appealed to many generations.

why can't you and other people here just accept it?

It has the odd good track on it, yes.
That was the platform on which they built their success.
Why should I accept it though just because everyone else does?
So you're saying that I should just say ' Yeah I really like these dudes and think they're great', just cos everyone else does?

no, i'm differently not saying that. i'm saying you should just accept that its a great album because sooooooo many people think so.

i can't stand elvis but recognize he was great because of how many fans he had.

i would however say that the bends was their 'platform' to success not ok computer.

actually, creep was more of a platform than ok computer.

radiohead is the genesis of the 90's. soothing, whiny and pretentious. I bet most ardent phil collins fans have ok computer in their cd rack.

Sod off, whether you like them or not they're nowhere near Phil Collins' despicable excuse for music.
