no, i'm differently not saying that. i'm saying you should just accept that its a great album because sooooooo many people think so.
i can't stand elvis but recognize he was great because of how many fans he had.
i would however say that the bends was their 'platform' to success not ok computer.

Ther's a hell of a lot of stuff by them I can't stand. But that's my opinion and your's is your's.
What grips my poo though, is when people say that everything that a band does is brilliant just because it is by that particular band. It's almost like crappy branding.
'Yeah I'm great because I like this band that everyone else does'. If you know what I mean.
Rather than 'I like tis music on its merits. It has this that and the other attributes that please me.'

Much as the nineties were a desert, Oasis' champagne salvation turned out to be a mirage. I was amazed, though, at how partisan people were about their music. Good play to the shaggy brothers. What are they up to now?
