I certainly don't have to look for things to post as you suggest. You sound like you like to control what ever is being discussed. You are not always right about everything!

We've had this conversation a million times in the past.
Last time it was raised by someone wanting to divert conversation to his club. But even then, he said the General Forum was dying, not the entire site.
But, the clan system may not last much longer because of those wishing to subjugate it to their own will and their own vision. And the forums ...[text shortened]... here providing the "life support" will eventually give up, and then it's only a matter of time.
But the GF is still here today, so i guess history goes in cycles repeating itself.
Regarding clans, also the issues are similar, even if it seems that the situation is a little worse, as you suggest.
I think because there are not much charismatich clans/clan leaders in the system who can attrct more members and players.
Some good sane rivalry lacks (except for Metallica which seems to raise always some banter 😀) and the clans left are plagued with the same problems: unfair challenges often issued with the only purpose to ammass points to pass this or that clan in the scoring system.
A great member of RHP (he was once even my clan leader, damn me i don't remember his name) used to banter about the ridiculousness of the clan scoring system but was not listened to, now i see that he was right and the clan scores had become pretty meaningless, hence taking away the fun and the competition amongst clans.
I see also many inactive clans or one man clans, a sad view indeed.
Time will tell, they say, well, time has already spoken for what i can see now 🙂
