Well I thought clocks were meant to be used in "Blitz" chess and our match is anything but a "Blitzkrieg". 😀

Like GBS, I had a game with Trevor that only recently concluded, and at times he was 100 days over the time limit.

I don't claim wins against regular forum posters. (In a Clan game I would claim the win immediately). As it was, Trevor and I had an enjoyable game and he got a well-deserved draw.

We have now started another one. (2022 here we come).

I can compare with a missing phonecall from a boyfriend: Why doesn't he call? It would only take a few minutes. 🙂

Trev always moved eventually. That was good enough for me.

And I refuse to believe old boyfriends never called you. 😀

There is nothing as silent as a phone that doesn't ring when expected. 🙂

Stop waiting for the phone to Ring and then by suprise it will actually ring. Ever wait for 1 minute to pass by? Seems it takes forever, of course it is only a minute but you are waiting for it. Seems longer for some reason.

I have begun to expect infrequent "phone calls" from Trev but when I do get one a big smile forms on my mouth...kinda like this. 😀

I'd never wait for the phone to ring, but then that is me. I figure if the person isn't calling they are telling you a lot by not calling or saying anything. I don't have time for people like that in my life!
