Is this an american scoring system?

How does 1 + -1 = 1?

1 win
-1 lost
0 tie

Have to keep track of ties. 5 kills the game.

Are you RC? You see numbers and you JUST GOT TO ADD THEM ALL UP?

I used to be good at maths, but then I got stoned for 8 years, and suddenly, for some reason, maths isn't my forte any more. Therefore, I add up numbers. RC, being at the age where I started to smoke performs LAPLACE TRANSFORMS on his numbers.

BTW: I still don't get your scoring system. Explain it to me as if it was Crowley you were explaining it to.

Each round can take up to about 8 throws...

Takes 2 'points' to win a best out of 3
thus...

0/1/-1/0/0/0/-1 avoids a tie, but this user lost.
0/-1/1/0/0/0/1 would be the guy who won that match.

Helps me keep track of each throw for a round (7 throws), including ties (4 ties).

Hope that helps. Perhaps if I didn't smoke so much pot I would have used this format:

W (win)
L (lost)
T (tie)

A rock is a large hard object that is often round.

Scissors are those orange plastic things with the two holes that use to cut paper during arts & crafts....

Not at all, I was playing for a draw at worst.

BTW, you clearly outsmarted yourself (Not difficult, I know) when you gave your reason as:
"no1marauder (I figure Howard figures that I'll figure that he won't throw the same thing twice but then I'll figure that he's figured that and will throw Rock figuring that I've out-figured him. But I've got it all figured out and throw: Scissors.) "

If you reasoned that I would throw rock, then why would you chose scissors? Do you want to lose?
In fact I thought you would think I would throw rock and therefore chose paper to beat me, which is why I threw scissors.
It was only your faulty reasoning which saved you from a whooping.

You must be a lousy lawyer when Rock Paper Scissors is clearly beyond your mental powers!
