During the penalty kicks we just had a very inspired Ricardo and that's what it came down to in the end. There was little between both teams and most people knew that this would never be an easy win for any of the teams.[/b]
Lampard and Gerrard took rubbish penalty kicks.... put it all comes down to Ericksson. He changed the formation of the team in the WC finals instead of exprimenting in the firendlies. The man was RUBBISH as manager.

Lampard was the flop of the tournament and Gerrard had a poor game. Aaron Lennon ripped Nuno Valente apart and Crouch was being let get the ball since he had nobody to pass it to and we didn't want give away free-kicks.
Rooney made things harder for England, but I agree with Sven there. He's a great promise and his ill-temper can get better with age. We'll see how that goes, but I'm hoping he can harnesses that energy into just competitiveness and forget about the violent behaviour.

You can take the boy out of England, you cant take the English out of the boy!
He definitly desrerves everything he is going to cop.
Accident?? Bulldust!
The ref was signalling a free kick to England before he was surrounded.

It was a foul on Rooney until he pushed Ronaldo and somehow that's deemed to be a red card by the Argentinian ref, what a load of rubbish.

England never deserved to win the World Cup anyway with negative Sven at the helm, we never played good enough football at the end of the day. We always seem to have something to moan about though when we exit, this time a dodgy ref and bunch of diving, cheating Portuguese..... We didn't score so we were never going to win, especially ending on penalties!
A few more 'years of hurt' to come for England, especially with that no-mark McClaren taking over.
I hope Italy win the WC now, pretty please.

Well everything except the bit about Italy winning 😛
