You're fairly safe with white snow freshly fallen, I use to eat it as a kid and it never killed me. 😉 Or perhaps drink it would be more accurate!

The work load and experience level isn’t the same to justify that. It’s also not the norm, maybe at sonic or something or like a small, not busy mom and pop restaurant. This was a large upscale steak house, although I do do see what your trying to get at.
Some restaurants practice collecting the tips and share it equally among the servers .
