Slow drivers are usually very boring people who dont like taking risks, they like to pretend there good drivers just because they stick to or below the speed limit, That does not mean you are a good driver!! Lets see you taking bends at 90mph! no.. because you cant your too boring and scared.. wimps
I also drive in the sure knowledge that I'm not going to have to fork out extra money for speeding tickets.
My tuppence worth:
Overtake them!!!
Hoot the horn/give an evil look as you pass. For me the overtaking is the insult.
Luckily for me though it is mostly dual carriageway on the way to work, with 4 or so roundabouts, one speed trap (early on) and one bear lair. So pretty much 15 miles of blissful pedal-to-the-metal and foot-to-the-floor action on the way to work and 15 miles back. But of course I have to navigate one of the worst roundabouts in Scotland (apparently). It's all good fun though. It sharpens the senses. If there's a traffic-jam on the way home (and there usually is if i leave work on time) it gives me 20-30 minutes to chill, wind down the windows & turn up AC/DC or Led Zep and annoy the other motorists.
Creative use of the bus lanes can also be satisfying.

My rule is, if the guy in front of me is not moving faster than the guy to the right of me, I either tailgate the guy in front as obnoxiously as I can or I pass on the left. It generally works pretty well.
So, every time the police investigate a fatal crash around here and say that speed was a factor, they're just lying are they?
Nice.
And you all clearly know more about the physics of car movement and impacts and the effects of speed on braking ability than any of the scientists and engineers who spend their working lives trying to assess these things.
And I'm a perfectly good driver thank you. If the speed limit says 100km/h, I can drive at 100km/h without any problems. But if the speed limit says 50km/h I'm also capable of adjusting accordingly - and it seems that most of you are INcapable of doing this, so don't try and tell me who's the better driver.

No way to drive without taking risks. Mere adherence to speed limits and external rules does little to minimize the risks. One must be plugged into reality and move well. If you like to drive slow, then moving well means getting out of the way.
And I *do* 'get out of the way'. I don't sit in the fast lane for the hell of it. But it's often happened to me that, in an 80km/h zone, I am in the faster lane doing 80 overtaking someone doing 70. Some moron tailgates me as I do so, and swerves into the slow lane the instant there is even a HINT of a gap before I have a chance to change back into that lane myself. How the hell am I supposed to respond to THAT?

You know, I really hate it when these slow people get in front of me in my Porsche π
I mean... what's wrong with these people!? It isn't their age, rather their frame of mind. WHY does it take like 30 seconds to make the turn into their driveway!!! π
I mean what's the point of making cars that go 150+ mph if people are going to mess around at 50?
Timewasters!
