On most days I drive from Tredegar to Pontypool, pleasant little roads, with nice stretches that can easily be done at 40/50mph, without danger to others so why oh why do you get those drivers who insist on doing 30mph max !! usually with a queue of irritated impatient drivers behind. Sometimes I can't help but wonder why they don't get out and push it, it would be quicker ðŸ˜
and then there are those who insist on braking either every 10 seconds or for those nice sweeping bends..........aaagghhh, it can send you round the bend !!!🙄
Is it just me or do others find the same ?

In Germany we are not allowes to pass them on the righten side.
Imagine some schmock dring at the max allowed speed on the left side.
I do pass them on the right side and when they flash me with their lights I give them the finger and put on the fog backlights.
In my opinion they must be shot. All of them !

Even being a German I don't speed normally, but keep the tempo limits (of which we have a lot adimittedly)

I don't advocate uneccesary speeding/dangerous driving but why should everybody be held up by inconsiderate slow coaches who insist on driving not only at the lowest possible speed, but who in fact are a danger as they encourage reckless overtaking and impatience !

Personally, I am completely sick and tired of the 3/4 of local drivers who think the speed limit is a minimum rather than a maximum. They must be the same 3/4 of drivers who think they are 'above average' - which of course is completely ludicrous and only goes to show that far too many people are overconfident about their ability to control what is, effectively, a large and deadly weapon.
On the whole I would much rather be stuck behind a slow driver and be patient than be worried about the fast driver who might kill me. At least that way I get a choice about whether the situation is dangerous.

I must see at least ten potential collisions a day on the way to work where people are overtaking in extremely dangerous places. With a combined speed of 140mph it's hard to imagine that there would be no deaths if there was a collision.
Just relax.

Blocking the left lane as a slow ass is behaving dangerously. You are bunching up traffic, creating conditions where people will pass on the right or even pass your pitiful ass in the emergency lane.
You are too stupid to realize that it isn't about permission but about inevitability. You are causing traffic jams.
