So, no reason to get married other than you want to.

With each generation fewer and fewer guys get married. Most who do get married do so because they think they are supposed to do it.

It winds down to a personal choice wouldn't look at a person who is not married to be any less than a person who is married. It is a custom that has went on for many centuries as you know. There was a time you never saw a mixed race couple together now it is an everyday occurance. Times change as do people's views.

Marriage is dying out, it does not fit societal values. As you said, values change. People adapt and marriage is dying accordingly.
