Does that include PMs?
You all act like you are a computer program that can't operate without specific instructions. You are all "smart", otherwise you probably wouldn't be on a chess site. Use your common sense, error on the side of keeping your mouth shut and you should get along fine. Or take your chances...I couldn't care less either way.

Or by asking what that the weather was like in Toronto, would i be banned for giving away Darvlay's home town details? Until you define exactly what does and doesn't fall in the personal information bracket you can take what seems pretty concrete to you and keep it, I'll suffice with taking my chances.

How about this, if you feel the need to post personal information about someone and think it might be a bannable offense, then PM the person beforehand and ask for permission to post it. If they give you permission, then I highly doubt Russ would ban you for it. If for some reason you don't want to ask the person then you probably shouldn't post it. If they don't give you permission, then don't post it.

Originally posted by SeitseI totally disagree. That procedure is why many people stopped posting at RHP. I'm looking forward to being able to post w/o the sickies attacking me personally.
perhaps the solution may be individually; particularly to let
two who hate each other bash themselves freely until both get
banned... of course, the tribes and e-buddies should stay away...
