Now, see. That's where you're mistaken. I'm not complaining about the things you are. I'm simply pointing out how wrong it is for a secular country to privilege one religion over all the others. That's all. You're the one doing all the complaining here.

And incidently, there's no atheist day and there never will be. It's stupid to found a day where people go: "Today we celebrate the thing that doesn't exist!"

Allowing them to grow and multiply without b ...[text shortened]... come a majority, and apply Sharia law, it will be you who will have to "assimilate".
Wow, I didn't see that until now. That's hilarious. Where on earth do you get your information? A lot is done here to include immigrants in Norwegian life. Among other things they get free language classes and classes about the Norwegian society (I got that too). And I don't know where you got that idea that Muslims are disallowed professional employment here.

i'm complaining about you complaining 🙂 ...

it wouldn't be a celebration of something that doesn't exist, it would be a celebration of it's non-existence ...

Not all atheists are convinced of this non-existence.

Stockton. I don't quite understand what the beef is with atheists. What do Atheists care how someone else believes as long as it doesn't effect you. I don't go around insulting or persecuting Atheists for their disbelief. Atheists seem to act like their lack of belief is a religion. And they act as if they want to force what they don't believe on others. Which seems silly and combative for no good reason that I can see. If an Atheist chooses not to believe that's cool with me. Freedom of choice right. But why do Atheists feel the need to have to insult those who do. I don't believe in Santa Clause or the tooth fairy but I don't see any Atheists religions popping up against that. If Teachers get a paid day off, for whatever reason what is the big deal. Help me understand what the battle is about. Because I really never have. Now if you feel the need to bow down and pray to your nothingness. Have at it. Why shouldn't they have the same right to bow down and worship what you believe doesn't exist in your mind. I am not trying to be combative here I am just trying to understand is all.😕

Because religious zealots control the world. Look at Israel, Palestine, and the US. All three run by religious zealots.

Then what you are saying is that you want to help facilitate more conflict when less is needed. I mean why pick on the Christian belief and not all the others?

I focus on Christianity because I'm an American. I focus on Islam because Muslims slammed an airplane into my nation's Twin Towers. Jews don't cause me problems so I don't bother them.

Since when do Israel and Palestine have anything to do with "running the world"?????

I really don't care if Bush wants to thank God and talk about God in public all the time.i wouldn't call him a zealot. What scares me is that he probably can't spell "God."
