No. I am saying I don't need to debate with Japanese shintoists or Buddhists in order to influence policy that I don't like, as Japan is not doing things I don't like while run by religious zealots.

Would it make any difference to you, or are you just predigest to all of them.
Would the nation of origin make a difference to me? Not when it comes to debating with Muslims about Muslim issues like violent Jihad.

OK, so let me see you are against Christian Zealots but you are for Christian Zealots so long as they are killing Muslim Zealots. Even if the reason Muslim Zealots are Killing Christian Zealots is Because, Christian Zealots Attacked Muslim Zealots, several years earlier? So does that make you an Atheist Zealot? 😕 This is getting very confusing.

you are against Christian Zealots

Yes.

you are for Christian Zealots so long as they are killing Muslim Zealots

No. Where did you get this idea from? How can I be for and against the same people at the same time?

See, now that is why I ask, because it is all very confusing to me. I think I need a beer break. There is just too much conflict in this World. 😕

Despite your lack of intellectual competence and your ever so foolish pride in your CMD (Country of Mass Destruction), you do entertain well. 🙂

Elitist is hardly the proper title for me, but you go ahead and say that. I don't really care what you think anymore.

I'm afraid I won't be around in twenty years. Not with boners like you jumping about, firin ...[text shortened]... usiness of the united states.

Pfffuiiiii... 🙂 I was actually worried there for a while.
You are not only blind but stupid as well...."May the fleas of a thousand camels inhabit your underwear"....Arab proverb...get used to it...

Wow, I didn't see that until now. That's hilarious. Where on earth do you get your information? A lot is done here to include immigrants in Norwegian life. Among other things they get free language classes and classes about the Norwegian society (I got that too). And I don't know where you got that idea that Muslims are disallowed professional employment here.
Read the book: "While Europe Slept"

Well, you can choose to get your views of the world from a book if you like.

Alternatively, you might consider that the three people who replied to you who actually LIVE in Scandinavia, at least two of whom didn't originate there, all used the word "laugh" (or something similar) in their replies.

Maybe you should take a vacation and visit Norway or Sweden. You'll find travel very different when you are not wearing a uniform and don't have a enormous battleship floating off the coast.

While I haven't read this book, I have been reading some reviews of it.

From the quotes I have read I am amazed at how short sighted the interpretations appear to be.

For me, it just adds to the wealth of evidence that supports the idea that many Americans have not got a clue about anything outsode their own little fantasy of Moms apple pie.

Gullable lot aren't you!

There are many smart, creative and imaginative people in the US. When they do something well, nobody does it better. However, it does seem like the majority have the imagination and understanding of a packet of mixed nuts.

Stockton. I don't quite understand what the beef is with atheists. What do Atheists care how someone else believes as long as it doesn't effect you. I don't go around insulting or persecuting Atheists for their disbelief. Atheists seem to act like their lack of belief is a religion. And they act as if they want to force what they don't believe on others ...[text shortened]... our mind. I am not trying to be combative here I am just trying to understand is all.😕
I insulted believers? Read my posts again. I'm not insulting believers. I say whatever religion you choose to follow it's fine by me. Adding to that, no religion should be held above any other by the state. Thus, christian holidays forced on everyone is a bad thing, just as any other religious holiday. Atheists don't have special holidays, so it doesn't matter, but if we were (strange notion) we wouldn't be allowed anything more than any (other) religion.

I'm not bashing on religions here. That's for the spirituality forum. I'm simply stating a fact that I feel is unfair to all religious groups but the christians. That's all. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.

Is Atheism Spiritual?
Nope. Not by definition. You could be atheist and spiritual, but not define the origin of spirituality the same way god-believers do. Again, I feel if we're going to talk about these things, the spirituality forum is the way to go.
