I could very well lecture about Homer's Illiad and the Greek pantheon without believing in Zeus or Hera. I could give a lecture on Scientology. That doesn't mean I believe an alien named Xemu pushed doomed souls into volcanoes millions of years ago. So why shouldn't GoaD be able to lecture about the Bible or Christianity? He has, after all, made a study of comparative religion.

I once knew an Anglican priest who said he was an agnostic, so, yes, it is even possible to preach without belief.
