@ghost-of-a-duke saidLOL, wonderful reasoning goad!
Well, it seemed like you needed educating, even from an atheist. You stated that a visit from an angel would be unique when in reality (if one buys into the Bible) there were at least a dozen angelical visitations in either testament. The Bible also says:
"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." (Hebrews 13:2).
Let's hope you haven't personally snubbed an angel while out on one of your brisk walks.
You make me laugh every day!

@suzianne saidI had to bump this one as the page flipped, very few go back to read what was said on previous page.
And, for some reason, you seem to live in a dreamworld where you think I live in a dreamworld.
"Is it safe?"
You do have a super girl outfit on as your icon! π π So my answer would have to be a 'YES' you live in a fantasy world. Kind like cleaning out a bar with bikers in it...LOL...That was really funny!

@very-rusty saidIs your avatar factual?

@ghost-of-a-duke saidThe white queen checkmated the black king as you can see, and it was meant to be funny and is very accurate unlike SuzieQ's Icon which is neither! π She lives in a fantasy world! Have you seen her clear out a bikers bar yet?..........LOL.......
Is your avatar factual?

@very-rusty saidGenerally speaking, and not aimed at anyone in particular, I like pointing out the obvious to simpletons.
Of course not, but would you preach or lecture about something you didn't believe in? I am very doubtful you would! π

@very-rusty saidSo, both are fictional? (There isn't a naked woman sitting on your lawn holding a giant pawn? )

@ghost-of-a-duke saidNo, mine can happen, Suzie Q will never be Super Girl!!! .... Obviously because super girl isn't real to begin with. Now tell me how she doesn't live in a fantasy world? π π

@ghost-of-a-duke saidLOL....I've had 3 different icons goad while Suzie Q has had the same one, in her own mind she thinks she is Super Girl, haven't you heard her stories about clearing out a biker bar?......Single handed too....ROFLMAO...It was too funnny! I am laughing so hard here, great entertainment!

@very-rusty saidI could very well lecture about Homer's Illiad and the Greek pantheon without believing in Zeus or Hera. I could give a lecture on Scientology. That doesn't mean I believe an alien named Xemu pushed doomed souls into volcanoes millions of years ago. So why shouldn't GoaD be able to lecture about the Bible or Christianity? He has, after all, made a study of comparative religion.
Of course not, but would you preach or lecture about something you didn't believe in? I am very doubtful you would! π

I once knew an Anglican priest who said he was an agnostic, so, yes, it is even possible to preach without belief.
