I think because even this innocuous, peripheral-type thread was sabotaged so badly, it should be pretty clear
why I posed the question about owner/admin rights of threads to the RHP posters in the first place.
And the same negative forces can do the same thing in *any* thread. Sad, isn't it?

You knew it should have went in the "Site Idea" Thread, as you've been here long enough to know where it should have went. You never proved anything because there are already clubs and clans set up or that you can set up your self if you want control for the very things you mentioned. In the future perhaps think about where the thread should go. You knew it would get more attention in the General Forum Thread which indeed it got. Happy Now?
