Those "blind" patriotic German soldiers immediately put their rifles down and simply built, from total ruin, and with assistance, the greatest economic power in Europe that still arguably is the epicenter of European economic power....and you say that's "unfortunate"? How did that affect Norway negatively?.....Norway was barely touched by the wa ...[text shortened]... leet was stationed, right? I've been to Norway...a beautiful country, but ohhhh so cold.......

So, why did the German populace allow these "nazis'" to get back into some power position? I know the US used former German rocket scientists (Werner Von Braun) to help us get to the moon, but I don't think he was a nazi, or was he....?

a year or two ago the s.f. chronicle had a series on some homeless people in s.f. ... tracked them for awhile .... if they got a little money from begging, they'd spend it on crack, etc. ... some died from flesh-eating bacteria due to dirty needles ...
i don't think you could "cure" them without suspending their civil liberties for quite a long while ... rehab is a long hard road even if you buy into it, and if you don't, then what?

You want to keep slinging chit since you started it, Heckel?...or is it Jekyll....if so, bring it on or else fly away to bugger a scarecrow; use one of your molds if need be....

Originally posted by zeeblebotAt one time in the past, after a year of clinical experience, one could challenge the California RN boards, but the CA nurses started bitching about "competition and accreditation", so theu Navy and the state of CA severed contract ties; however, now that there is a shortage of nurses, the Navy and CA are negotiating to reinstate the challenge program...one would have to work as a nurse in CA though...not sure if I am willing to do that. It's a better step to becoming Physicians's Assistant if one is motivated enough. I'm 44, so I'll use it to get my BS, retire and be a school nurse or something....easy...no adrenelin ER rooms for me.... 🙂
can you used that (advanced medics school) to jump to medical school?
I have only just discovered this website, and I find it hard to believe what I'm reading!! America is certainly the richest country in the world, but the problem with the "American dream" is that the richer get richer and the poorer get poorer. I'm not talking about drug users, criminals etc.. but the genuine poor. After all, poverty is relative. When was the last time anyone saw thousnads of Americans dying of starvation as is happening in Africa! That's real poverty. If the US spent a fraction of it's military budget on aid, both for the world and maybe within it's own country, then, perhaps, the world would view the US differently!
