But for many (many) years here you referred to non-subscribers as scum. Wasn't that a superiority thing?!

Memory failing you old chap?
Not at all and as I told you that was started by one of the old Moderators and just carried on over the years with no one saying a lot about it. It out grew being funny had nothing to do with superiority "OLD CHAP"!!!! 😛

Your memory failing you, I've already told you this at least on two seperate occasions?

Sometimes I do skip a step and therefore make no sense.

When I was a kid we lived up in Redwings territory, and one of the razor-blade companies had an ad campaign that involved hockey players with tough beard-stubble.

Hoping that makes more sense now! 😉

So why would you assume I had a hockey stubble on my face?

I think you are just picking a side to get on and goad's would be the more favourable in your opinion.

Welcome to correct me if I am wrong of course! 😉

You don't like him because he was from France and a great explorer.

Given your hints ("previously on RHP" ) that English is not your first or primary language, I thought you might be French-Canadian (as am I, partially) and therefore might have hockey-player stubble (as I certainly do).

Of course I could absolutely be wrong and it wouldn't be the first time!

Couldn't find an ad from back in the day, but here's this one:

Poor devil.
She should try thinking outside the box.
That doesn't help.

That's like telling someone in a wheelchair that they could walk if they tried.

To tell you quite honestly,...you're right that there was a culture of calling non-subs 'scum' in the Clan forum, which was generally believed to be a subscriber-only forum (due to only subs being allowed to join clans). Pretty ghastly, but just about tolerable.

You, however, were the only person I ever saw calling non-subscribers scum in the 'General Forum,' a forum where many non-subscribers posted. (As they were entitled to do). And when you did so it was always with the air of superiority, that subscription had somehow elevated you. - The reason you stopped doing this 'wasn't' that it stopped being funny but that you finally realized (slow as you are) that it 'never' was funny and was actually insulting to the many fine people who use this forrum, subscribers and non-subscribers alike.

Actually goad, you asre wrong: It was quite funny for a number a years, and nothing was said or done about it. It just stopped being funny, stop looking for something that just doesn't exist except in your own mind.

Others were doing it also for years!!!! Ask Suzie Q, she been around long enough to know. Ask her about when people use to pick on her and I'd defend her/him. 😉 😛....I believe it was going long before I even got here which was 2006, so you don't have two clues what you're talking about as usual.
