I have just received word that I am scheduled to get an operation on my hand in January or February next year. The operation will undoubtedly make moving pieces swifter and more decisive otb and I expect the increased fluency to be reflected in my play here too.

So watch out!
Look forward to you Bashing your Bishop with renewed vigour.

Small incision, some discomfort for a few days. You may need to keep your hand elevated at night.
Normal activity after a week or so when stitches come out.
Diapers shouldn't be a problem. Your newborn will tell you when. 😉
