you know what. I dont hate rap as much as I put out. I hate the image. I hate the lifestyle. I hate what it does to the minds of children growing up listening to it. i detest everything it represents. And there are some good rap artists out there who make a solid product. but come on seriously, enough advertising of a lifestyle solely bent around sex and violence cause its messing up our society. Pretty much 70 percent of the minors I can think of all listen to rap and it shows in how they act, how they communicate, and what they do with there leisure time. If rap could grow up and give up on the degradation than i'd step out of my shell and say great work guys. And i am not ignorant to the good that some rappers are doing. and im not ignorant to the fact that alot of rockstars do the same thing.

The one I listen to is highly social and talks about what's happening around and is highly sensible and tries to find positive way at the same time it will say out loud what's wrong with society.
French rap is pretty good for that with songs like:
"The Safe won't follow the Casket", "Drop your Gun" or "Don't let your son down"
"Is that what you want for your son?
The way you want to see him growing?
Don't let your son down
Look at him
When he talks to you, listen to him
Don't let him look somewhere else for
The love that should be in your eyes"
And that's the last place where you got that kind of buzz, if you ask me, without rap, there will only be stupid music out there right now!
