I dont feel surprised about wilfried (he seemed to be too perfect for human) and opaline (who won cheater denzil53 with result 2:0 in clan match). Other two I did not know at all.

I'm playing two games against Opaline at the moment. I didn't think I was playing against an engine until his 25th move in this game: Game 3689355.
25. ... Bxh2 is a move no strong human player would ever make - everyone knows that this is a poison pawn and that the bishop is trapped after g3. An engine might think that the bishop is safe on h2 because there isn't a simple way for White to win it, but any human can see that it has no future and that Black will be lucky to get a draw after that move.
The annoying thing is I won't get any rating points from these games now, I should have accepted his draw offer this morning!

Do these guys ever have anything to say in their defense or do they just get the boot? Are they unable to explain the reasoning of their moves?
Apparently they are required to prove their innocence without the evidence for the prosecution being presented.
The reasoning being that the evidence is overwhelming and there is no doubt.
From this one assumes it is not just isolated instances of high engine matches but consistent sustained matches game after game substantiated with examples of the sort of things only engines do (like make bad moves because the plan in beyond their horizon or make exceptionally good, obscure tactical moves that are beyond the capabilities of even a super GM to calculate but they get it move perfect).
We are told they have opportunity to appeal but that there is no doubt. Personally I don't see how they can appeal if the evidence is not presented but we have to rely on the mods to get this right - it must be a hard and thankless job although I doubt even they can be perfect.
