@KellyJay saidAn Atheist would be the last person to use religious arguments in a scientific setting.
I am trying to get an answer to a question you are trying to avoid answering because of what you are worried it may show. What does it matter my motivation? Would the questions answer be different if an Atheist asked it?
@sonhouse saidWhy would I deny that, and what does that matter with respect to that question? There is no chapter and verse involved it doesn’t point to anyone specific so why are you unwilling to think it through?
It is your agenda to prove god did it.
Something you cannot deny.
@KellyJay saidBecause it MEANS you will NEVER accept scientific evidence of life from mud or however it started because you are programmed to believe god did it and NOTHING will change that, which is a permanent fact of life for you.

@sonhouse saidI’ve been begging you to show me some science, where is your evidence, but all you do is highlight that I have Christian beliefs.

That has nothing to do with the topic at all. If you have something in the way of science that has something to do with this topic, bring it up and defend it. I’m not shutting down a conversation simply because you hold different beliefs than I do. None of those things matter if you stay on topic and have science to back up what you have in mind; pour it out for all to see.
@sonhouse saidDo you have any scientific evidence for life from mud, or do you only have a story?

@sonhouse saidYou always want to tell everyone why someone has their stand instead of actually defending your stand. Shouldn’t you be more worried about having a position that cannot be defended than knowing people don’t agree with you, no matter their motivation? It is the reasoning that matters.
Prime example of wanting to move the goalpost. you will ONLY post negative comments because of your religious arrogance.
@KellyJay saidI don't have an emotional connection with life origins like you do.

I follow the science and it might be another 200 year before scientists suss it all out but that doesn't change the fact I still follow the latest work.
@sonhouse saidNo, your emotional connection is trying to find or make up the motivation behind others, so you can dismiss anything they say or ask. That way, you avoid having to defend your point of view, so you don’t actually have to prove your point. You prefer to engage only with those who share your perspective, as well as those who reject the same views and people you do; it’s a nice, safe bubble. You hide in it well.

@KellyJay saidYou are on a quest to prove how superior you are because of your religious rapture, you think everyone should feel the same.

@sonhouse saidI am asking a question about what we see when we see information, you keep going on about my motivation.
You are on a quest to prove how superior you are because of your religious rapture, you think everyone should feel the same.
It will not matter what I think or you think, if we can find something other than a mind that can setup informational instructions. You do not need a chapter from a book of the Bible for that.
More than once some set out to prove their position and find out they were wrong, because reality does not change to suit us. If I am wrong prove it!
@KellyJay saidThat's where Popper comes in. Proving a god exists is impossible because it cannot be falsified.

Religion can never be on an equal footing with science because of that dichotomy.
@sonhouse saidThe question is about information, you may try to change the subject. Nothing about proving God, only God can prove God, I cannot do that.

It is a simple question about the arrangement of matter so that highly specified, very precise work, with extremely tight tolerances from replication to the activation of our sences and so on can occur.
Information is the elimination of uncertainty which is chaos. Do you think informational instructions can arise by chance?
