There you go. You are ignorant and too lazy to educate yourself about the very subject you keep bringing up.

You have not spent any time thinking about any science...

The "blind spot" issue is totally irrelevent, except for those who want it to be.

The problem with this forum is that it is full of people who are too worried about winning an argument to be willing to have a discussion. People like Fabian believe that their assumptions are facts, therefore there is no room for discussion. When you have enough people blinded by their own sence of self righteousness you end up with forums like this.

I just hope you guys clean up after yourselves.

But, dear eladar, creationism is not facts, it is not even science! Why are we discussing pseudo-science at all here in Science Forum? I have not a clue.

Pseudo-science belongs to Spiritual Forum. Every thread where creationism and other religious matters should be move there.

I never said it was either.

Then why are you crying blind spots don't matter? If an arrow is coming straight at you and it is in your blind spot you won't even have a chance to duck because you won't know it's there. At least if you see it, you have some kind of slim chance of avoiding the arrow, put up a shield, move out of the way, catch it in your teeth like Chuck Norris, whatever but with the blind spot you are dead so why equivocate about the issue? Either it's a bad deal or its not, it certainly cannot be ignored, there are vision tests that clearly show the effects of a blind spot and even though we mostly don't notice it doesn't mean it isn't there. It means the brain has to use some of its resources to counter the effect of the blind spot so you don't notice a literal blind spot. Either way it has to be a disadvantage. I think its the bias of the religious set that simply does not want to admit their G/god would design such stupidity into a human eye especially when we can see other animals with no such limitation and in fact with far superior eyes, more cones and rods per square inch, uv detection, IR detection, etc. I would love to be able to SEE IR, if there was something hot, I would know about it instantly, like a door in your room in a hotel where there is a fire, sometimes the door is on fire on the other side and you don't know it. So being able to see IR directly would seem to me to be a huge advantage in everyday life. So you can see why the non-religious would bring up the subject and I can see why the religious would attempt to argue around it, bring up straw men, anything at all to not have to admit a patently inferior eye or any other human feature. What about our muscles, chimps are 7 times stronger pound for pound, why didn't we get those powerful muscles? Neandertals seems to have had something like that so why not the Cro-Magnon line also?

I'm not the one bringing up the blind spot in the eye. So you use
words like 'lazy and ignorant', because as wide and long as this subject
is I have not looked at the blind spot. You are a piece of work you
know that?

I'm saying blind spots do not matter because we get along very well
with the eye as it is now. The complaint is that our eye isn't as good
as a creature who lives in the water, why not complain about ones that
fly too, or decry we do not fly with waving our arms, because we do not
have wings?

Even eladar says that creation is science.
So why are you discussing so hard creationism in the Science Forum?
Bring it to the Spiritual Forum where these kinds of discussons belong.

Admit it, KJ, you are anti-science. You are a god-denying creationist, open your eyes, and just admit it. There is a place in heaven waiting for you if you do.

The reason these 'complaints' are different is because I can fathom why we might not be
created to fly, or to breath underwater, or whatever. We were meant to be terrestrial.

What doesn't make sense is why would we be created with easily-avoidable deficits to our sight.
Were we meant to have

No one has offered any plausible explanation for this. You've posited that maybe our eyes would
fail sooner or be worse or something, but you've given no reason for this. You've also posited that
maybe we were created without blind spots but our eyes 'degraded,' but you neither have any
proof for this contention, nor does it make any sense, since our eyes are no less complicated than
a cephalopod's.

It is relevant because it calls into question the so-called 'intelligence' of the 'designer.'

Only from your flawed point of view. Your own imperfection and misunderstanding of the nature of our existance isn't something you are willing to question.

If you question your own understanding of reality, then you must question what you believe to be important.

Evading an arrow to live a few moments longer doesn't matter.

Nice evasion of the issue. If you see an arrow, you at least have a chance to do something about it, like SURVIVE. If the arrow comes at you in your blind spot, how long do you survive?

Well, Eladar just said 'I didn't say it was either', which sounds like he agrees with you that creation is not science. That we can agree on, unless KJ feels otherwise.
