@KellyJay saidThere is NO argument we can put up that would make the slightest bit of difference like the post I linked about the striking similarities to ancient Egyptian creation tales.
Well I am pointing to some thing no one person or group controlled through time. The time span from the oldest to latest scripture is -1500 years. -40 different authors from all walks of life, written in at least 3 different languages on 3 different continents, with all but 1 of the 66 different books talking about “A” God that created the universe and all that is in it.
...[text shortened]... t die for what they know is a lie.
You got this does feel right or so and so thinks this or that.
And ignoring the fact the religious ALWAYS refers to their god as HE.
Like a god would need human genitals. Really?
Saying god is a He must mean there is a female god we would call She but why? they need to reproduce like we do? Join genitals? Do you think these gods enjoy sex?
@sonhouse saidYou can make up whatever connection you want; a thimble of doubt will justify hiding a mountain of evidence. Similarities in stories could also be due to the truth being passed down in both cultures. I refer to God as the scriptures that I believe are truth reveal Him; you make it up as you go.

@KellyJay saidIn other words you have no answer as to why we call it a HE.

So does your god have genitals?
@sonhouse saidI believe we can part ways here, don’t ever think anything you have to say on any topic will ever get a response from me, from this moment forward.
