I completely agree with these comments. Shorter timeouts - 1day, would suit me fine, and correctly banded groupings too

If I lived in Switzerland, I might think that maybe....of course it's a great idea because people might not pay attention and by mistake sign up when they are above/below the tournament rating requested, but I'm leaning over the fence thinking that poor Russ, whoever he is, may have no control over this. Perhaps an upgrade in the software is the answer. Maybe he wants to accommodate but can't?

Russ has already said he'll consider it, and it works just fine in the public tournaments, so it can't be too difficult to copy that bit of code.

I see we've reached the magic 100 thumbs, which ought to count for something. 🙂

So what's taking RUSS so long? Everybody seems agreed. Why would the same software for RHP tournaments not be used for private clubs on RHP?
