I believe he means, time is a progression from one period to the next.
Like from 12 o'clock to 12:15?

Not very profound!

Its one truth I think we all agree on, when looking at events under discussion we can
measure them, if we are using picoseconds for things happening very fast, to millions
of years if we think they occur every slowly and create truth tables. In the time
allotted could this occur and therefore possibly have happen.

What?

If this is indeed a problem, then theists have it, too.

If it truly "makes no sense" that non-living matter can give rise to living matter, then God could not have animated a pile of dirt and made "Adam".
It makes perfect sense that the one that created the dirt can make a man out of it.

But it makes no sense that dirt can become a man of its own volition.

It's just the simplest logic!

@kellyjay said
No, it explains that the God who did it could speak and create, He isn't part of the
universe. This means that no matter what we do in our study of the universe we
can only find traces of what He did not, Himself.
But the Bible has numerous stories of God interacting with the physical world.

How can he do that if he's not part of the universe?

And who's claiming the dirt has "volition"? (I'm certainly not)

Same way an architect can walk in a house he designed and helped build. He can walk into to it and do what He wants.

An empty analogy and my architect better not think he can do what he wants with my house!

His house yes, and when it comes to God everything everywhere belongs to Him from the air you breathe to the bones in your body.

It's your sentence; I'm just parsing it. If you meant to say something else, you probably should just do that now.

Ah, but any such interaction would have to leave physical traces, and thus be accessible to scientific inquiry.

Once God enters the universe and interacts with it, he becomes a part of it.

I think He has left fingerprints upon the universe, but some simply refuse to acknowledge them no matter how painfully obvious they are. Any excuse will do in denying Him.

Do you believe there exists a conspiracy among humans against your god ?

I wouldn't call our nature a conspiracy, the thing about God, just being near Him
reveals all things, like our wicked nature for what it is. People simply don't like that.
