The American Humanist Association, for example, is placing ads on city buses that say things like

"In the beginning, man created God."

or

"You can be good without God."

I don't know if imbedded links work on this site, but I'll try:

Wow! are there really ads like that? I'm in brisbane australia but i don't see any 'agressively athiest' ads ...or agressively christian ones for that matter. I guess the people here are pretty docile when it comes to that stuff. But i'm pretty sure they have stronger views in private

I don't really get mad personally, when I see anti-Christian ads, stand up comedian routines, or prime time TV shows like Charmed for example that glorifies Wicca.

What I get upset, or, more like sad about is the young ones that are still developing their paradigms... the easily molded ones that don't have a lot of family support and are easily persuaded... it's those that I can't stand the thought of, reading an ad like that or visiting the wrong place on the web and getting caught up in a web of deceit.

Do you deny that the Old Testament has some very homophobic content?

Not at all. The Old Testament asserts some very vile things about homosexuals and how they ought to be treated.

How does that differ from homophobia?

I'm not claiming that it differs at all. I'm agreeing with you. The Old Testament is reprehensible regarding attitudes about homosexuals.

But all three faiths are supposed to follow it. All of the homophobia from the New Testament and the Holy Qur'an stems from the Old Testament.

I do, as you endorse the New Testament and the both of us endorse the Old Testament.
