I understand how you feel. My parents are Christadelphians for 55 years now .. they are in their late 80s and when I point some of the errors in their teachings they pretty much behave like you do. Its just that they are more coherent and far more level-headed ... but they still deny it.

You have clearly invested your life in the JW faith so it must be hard.

Life is tough all round ... band your jaw, suck it up and stop whining. You remind me of some of those gay jokers in the other thread.

Is that so?

Then why have so many JWs predicted a year for the Second Coming? Several times. All wrong. As divegeester and the Bible have said, this is false prophecy.

In the Bible, it says that we shall know them by their fruits. Corrupt trees produce corrupt fruit, such as dates for the Second Coming which turn out to be wrong.

What troubles me even more than this, however, is your insistence that your Christian brothers are not Christian at all, therefore clearly you refuse to show love for your Christian brothers as commanded in the Bible. Hypocrisy of the first order.

Look girlie guide, i am not going to argue with you, we are not infallible, we have never
claimed to be infallible, we have originated no prophesy, we have merely sought to
understand prophecy already written in the Bible, did i mention we have also killed no
one in two world wars, just saying! You might want to think about your Christian
churches record of killing innocents before extracting the rafter from my eye.

Who is the great Harlot who sits upon many waters? the churches of Christendom who
have made complicit pacts with the Kings (politicians) of the earth!!! Yes i said it!

'Get out of her my people if you do not want to share in her sins'!

[b]Ar,no ones making you read this post. The point here is-and it's a recurring one with JWs and other christians- that they just dont LISTEN
After reading your story its nice to hear you converted and now are a Bibile believing Christian thanks to her persistance. It will only embolden the rest of us to act in the same manner towards others.

All I can say is, welcome aboard!! 😵

She was just so damn nice otherwise. It was really hard to know how to treat her. I dont think telling her to get bent would've been appropriate in this case, however I could be wrong.

What I thought was funny was the songs. They were words straight out of scripture, no repitition of choruses or anything - just simple melodies with those god awful lyrics.
(I am not saying that scripture is god awful here. I am just saying that as songs the author didn't seem to have put much thought into the lyrics and the end result was very silly and yes- god awful)

Dont lump Robbie in with "gay jokers" ,(whoever they may be (?) ), he is in league all of his own.
Just because he doesn't get a forum ban doesn't mean that he is not constantly putting people down ( ie.anyone who doesn't agree with his particular brand of dogma ).

What??

(I may be slow with my sense of humor-I readily admit that. But it really does suck to have my words totally twisted beyond all recognition. )

If that was an attempt at humor, it was abysmal . BTW, after careful consideration, I am a hindu now for all intensive purposes. Please remember that and try to show respect for those that have a different belief system to yours. Thank you in advance.

What is the best (sure not original) is when you show Galvo & RC what there organization has written they get very defensive. We did not make any of it up. It's freely available. 100+ years of false prophecy. Their excuse is well as times goes on we have gained a better understanding. 100+ years I wouldn't fear or take heed to anything the JW's say at all.

whatever, we've killed not a single person in two world wars while the nominal
Christians were blowing each other to bits, I think your record of bloody warfare
speaks for itself indicating that you are weeds and counterfeit. BTW we have not
become defensive, we readily admit to having made mistakes, we have never claimed
to be infallible and we have originated no prophecy, merely seeking to understand
prophecy already written but I guess this truth doesn't interest, you'd rather be
justifying killing on a massive scale!

You will know if you are my disciples if you have love among yourselves , states the
Christ, how is killing and bombing one another a demonstration of love? Do tell?

Liar and hypocrite ....

“.. Jehovah’s witnesses today make their declaration of the good news of the Kingdom under angelic direction and support .. And since no word or work of Jehovah can fail, for he is God Almighty, the nations will see the fulfillment of what these witnesses say as directed from heaven. Yes, the time must come shortly that the nations will have to know that really a ‘prophet’ of Jehovah was among them.” —The Watchtower, April 1, 1972, p. 200

That is a claim to be infallible.

That is a claim to be infallible.
claiming to act like a 'prophet', is not claiming to be infallible, clearly many of Gods
prophets made mistakes, like Jonah for example. Many of Christ very own disciples
also made mistakes, you will therefore retract your slanderous statement and
issue a public apology or be forever known as the weed like Christian that you
evidently purport to be.

BTW quoting from watchtower magazines is pure straw, its not even considered to be
inspired, you might want to remember that when you are having your butt handed to
you every single time you quote from one!
