No not necessarily, they could convert, you never know.
Really? You think he's doing 'all he can'? I can think of many more things he could do to save people. The guy's supposed to be omnipotent. Him just sitting up there watching people choose against him while failing to be convinced by a 2000 year old book full of dubious philosophies is obviously not cutting the mustard.

Here's another question for you. Why aren't people allowed to leave hell after 'learning their lesson'? Doesn't the whole concept of eternal hell seem like a completely unjust punishment?

Tell that to my debate opponents that DO take them literally. I'll stop when they do.

God let's people have free-will, they are free to choose what they want to to, doesn't make it right but they are free to do it, but they will have to suffer the consequences. People cannot repent of their sin or sins once they are in hell, and if they don't repent they can't get out.

Why can't they get out? Doesn't God show any mercy?

Why can't people repent of their sins after say, 100 years in hell? What's the point of punishment if you never ever get a chance to demonstrate a change in behavior? It becomes some sick form of revenge.

Neither can I, but it's fun to try sometimes.

Because people say if you die in your sins you are so stubborn against God that even if He gave them a chance they wouldn't.

So you believe things just because a big-name says it?

Does it make sense to say that hell is a horrible place of torture and torment, then turn around and claim that no one would leave it if given the chance?

I didn't say they wouldn't leave if given the chance I said they wouldn't repent of their sin(s) if given the chance, then why do you Believe in hell, you haven't seen it so some "big-name" must've said it.

But what if they were allowed to leave hell on the condition that they repent of their sins? I think tons of people would take that deal.

I don't believe in hell. Surely it has become clear that I am playing along with your viewpoints in order to show the logical and philosophical problems in your belief system. I think that God, Satan, heaven, and hell are all mythical.

These are legitimate questions. I asked recently in a different thread is the weight of punishment fair? Think about it eternal is forever.

So you are an atheist? Yeah but the offense against God is infinite therefore the punishment must be too.
