Robin always seems to have a full schedule when things get heated.
Doors to knock on, folk to badger, targets to make.
On the contrary I am at home relaxing, drinking tea, looking at some famous chess games, watching some Charlie Chan videos and generally emanating positive vibes in all directions. There are just so many better things to do than remonstrate with slobbery droolers and Internet zombies. I knew you would miss me once I was gone but thats what happens when you are disrespectful to the chosen ones of Jehovah.

Hey all. Just passing thru as I've been extremely busy with life. Wish it would slow down...
Thinking about this today and made myself sit down and ask this to all who profess being a Christian.

Do you doubt the bible? Do you doubt what God says in it? Do you doubt his son Jesus and what he said? Do you doubt that the Bible and God's words are not ...[text shortened]... ough for you? If there is something you don't understand or even agree with, where is the faith?
There is always room for doubt if that wasn't true faith wouldn't be part of the process.

I doubt the man that thinks he can interpret the Bible.

Sorry to upset you so much about my personal life and my time and where I spend it. Sorry that I do have a life and you apparently don't.
At first I was going to tell you it's none of your business at all but I know you and you'll not let it go. Right?
I have foot surgery tomorrow and besides getting all my work done here at my job as I will not be able to walk for at least two weeks I have to cover in advance with all that I can do these last couple days. Make sense?
I've also had heart problems these last few months and had to go in for some last minute test to make sure I'm ok to go under anesthesia tomorrow.
So, sorry I'm not here at your beckoning call or respond at your every complaint.

So buddy, are you ok with this or do I need to cancel my appointment tomorrow so I can be here for you and answer your every question?

So you feel the bible is worthless to us? If it was not meant to be understand and do us good on so many levels, why did God give it too us?

This kind of post completely lacks dignity. There is almost nobody else on this web site who uses their own health problems as a leading-with-the-chin 'debating point' and as a device to avoid discussion in the way you do. And you do so repeatedly. You really should reflect on this as you may not be able to recognize it in yourself. In the meantime, good luck with your surgery on Tuesday.

Ask yourself the question gman what benefit you have ever had in engaging with FMF and divegeester and you will realise yourself how futile it is to remonstrate with them. I am ignoring their posts entirely and havng the time of my life doing so, its like such a refreshing experience not being brought down by their personal remarks and moralising over other people. Try it, you will feel the difference right away.

Feel free to ignore me at anytime - divegeester, the best piece of advice on the internet. Apply it by extension to FMF and your enjoyment of this site will be much enhanced, i can assure you.

So, robbie, is this why, in the middle of discussions about other things recently, you suddenly started insinuating that I was a pedophile? Did you do this because you dislike "personal remarks and moralizing over other people"?

Understanding the Bible is one thing. Commandeering it to claim that "only" you have the "correct" translation, when all you're doing is cherry-picking so that it supports your doctrine, which your church already had in place before you came out with your "translation" is the same as just re-arranging the furniture to match something you saw in "Good Housekeeping". It's not actually "understanding". It's not just "leaning unto your own understanding", it's "understanding" something of your own creation, and it has nothing at all in common with the "understanding" of all other churches. So, yes, the Bible, as written, IS "worthless" to you (since it doesn't back up your already-made doctrine), and so you solve this dilemma by re-creating it in "your own image", and voila! Suddenly it not only agrees with, but now it fully supports, the doctrine you already had created. So your "understanding" is based not on what God gave to all of us, like all other churches, but what you claim he gave to you, specifically, after you had already created your doctrine. And you wonder why the rest of us aren't "buying" it.
