You talk about Hell and Raj preaches Damnation - are they not the same thing and therefore you two have common ground (even if it is unscriptural) ?
One is a sentence, the other a place, where the sentence is carried out. That is not the issue.

Both hell and damnation are in the Bible. Hell is a place of torment. Damnation is the end result of evil people who are cast out of the Kingdom of God.

Jesus gave a very detailed description of what hell was like. Those are not translation errors, nor was Jesus just using what the Pharisees believed to scare them. The rich man in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus went to hell. I don't believe in twisting what Jesus preached. There is a place called hell. I am aware there is also a place where the Jews burned rubbish called Gehenna, and I understand the connection, but they are two separate places.

Jesus explained the difference between body and soul, and referred to hell as a place where both body and soul dies.

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
(Matthew 10:28 KJV)

Man can kill the body. Only God can destroy both.

There is no hell other than the common grave and all this burning in eternal torment stuff is contrary to the scriptures and the principles that God displayed when the Israelites were feeding their kids into the fires of Molech. I just love the scary stuff that so many try and impart in religion ( and politics) as when you start all this “damned” stuff what you really mean is dead, only it sounds scarier.

Well Jesus said differently .. that there is a place called hell, so I will go with that. Notice I never said anything about eternal torment. People are destroyed in hell, both body and soul. However, Satan and his angels are tormented for eternity as Revelation states clearly.

As for 'damned' I am just going to bible terminology, particularly the teachings of Christ

This is because we believe in a God that can see into people's hearts to see intent and character. If the taker of 1,000 lives is truly repentant (not likely, I know), then God can see that, just like he can see the teller of one lie is non-repentant. Are they sorry (do they want to make amends) or not, and are they being truthful. That's what tips the scales. The Cross ...[text shortened]... is is the main reason I say Pascal's Wager is useless. One cannot fool God and one cannot game God.
The change of heart is irrelevant. The crimes must be answered for, or else it's not justice.

Christians mistakenly believe that anyone who professes faith can escape judgment or punishment. In the story of the rich man and Lazarus, the offense of the rich man was to ignore the poor, and his punishment was severe.

Never take revenge, my friends, but instead let God's anger do it. For the scripture says, "I will take revenge; I will pay back, says the Lord." (Romans 12:19 GNB)

God's justice, as far as the scripture is concerned, happens in this life and in the next. Sometimes we see it happen, and sometimes we don't.

I felt this way once. I totally get it. It's part and parcel of the human experience.

Your lack of understanding is showing, throughout the OT and NT it is an established truth! Since you don’t believe in God under any circumstance your opinion doesn’t make a difference one way or the other, no matter how we view God.
It is also true that your opinion doesn't matter when it comes to understanding God's true nature. Again, the trinity is a retrofit and goes against what scripture teaches. The bible says God is beyond our understanding, yet still you try to define Him with your 3 in 1 nonsense.

Where do you get your information, what is your primary documentation for your beliefs on hell and the common grave?

Which is why the cross is so important.

Can you link to where he has called you a sociopath or mentally ill?

Edit: As a Christian you really should self-regulate what you post.
He has said very vile things to me over the years, NOW you want me to live up to a standard you reject, please. I am holding back! The only reason I've taken the gloves off with him is what he said earlier about scripture and his discussions with Christians.

What a stupid question. Jesus knew that he was going to die for the sins of the whole world. All that is required now is for people to live righteously and do good works. That is all Jesus preached.

The Grace of God sent the FREE GIFT of justification upon ALL men, as Paul stated. Here it is again ... ALL MEN ... FREE GIFT.

Therefore as by the offence of one ju ...[text shortened]... life. (Romans 5:18 KJV)

I know you hate that passage ... LOL .. thats why I keep posting.
Yes, and you really should be looking at all the passages that Christ said, we all of the right to be children of God, but not all will be.
