the correct translation and understanding of the verse is as follows, not some self certified watered down version based on a translation from the middle ages.

(Philippians 2:6) who, although he was existing in God’s form*, gave no consideration to a seizure**, namely, that he should be equal to God.

* He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation, Col 1:15
** “thing to be seized.” Literally“snatching.”

you will note that nowhere does this verse state that either Christ is God, nor that Christ entertained the idea that he should be equal to God, why are you trinitarians ignoring this fact and trying to fraudulently claim that it means something other than that?

i dont need to explain anything to you, get it. If you are too lazy to look it up then i have better things to do than discuss it with people who have not.

(Proverbs 17:10) A rebuke works deeper in one having understanding than striking a stupid one a hundred times. . .

look at this, you asked manny to look at a few links, not to do with watchtower.org, 'its propaganda', 'i wont look at it'. I ask divesgeester to look up a single verse on a Hebrew online interlinear, 'what is there to discuss'. What's with that? Perhaps you and I are too used to this type of study and research, to actually try to get an understanding of the verse from the original languages. who can say?

thankyou RJH, you have sayings of everlasting life and can really point us in the right direction, how silly of us to think that we were following Christs words to preach the Good News of Gods Kingdom when you have all the answers already. Should we now set up an edifice to you, offer up incense to it with incantations of RJH, RJH , you are the one that set us free?
Then Jesus said to him, "Begone, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall
worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.'" (Matthew 4:10 NASB)
Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name
which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the
earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord
to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 1:8 NASB)

What name is above every name, even Jehovah?

Answer: Jesus

Every Knee should bow to whom?

Answer: Jesus

Every tongue will confess who is Lord?

Answer: Jesus Christ

Who are we to worship and serve only?

Answer: The Lord your God.

After the resurrection, Thomas said to Jesus, "My Lord and my God!"

Ok What does God form mean? BTW I used both the KJV and well the vastly superior NASB At least compared with the NWT 😉

It means Manny that he is of course a spirit again and not human and he now has much more authority that he did not have before he decended to earth and then reassended. No where does this scripture say he was God and equal to him. Right???????????????
I'm beginning to think no matter how we answer or explain it's doing no good.

And of course you prefer those Bibles as they have been translated to support the trinity.

I don't have the NWT anymore, so how does the new edition translate
John 20:28 and Philippians 1:8.
