I haven't mentioned "voting". There is a lot more to "politics" than voting. There is advocacy. There is activism. There is volunteerism. There is community empowerment. There is lobbying for change. There is protesting. There is contributing to the discourse. There is much, much more to "politics" than just "voting".

When it comes to "wrong" and "evil" and " ...[text shortened]... you not to stand up against them and oppose them in any of the ways listed above?
He did not stand up for them at the time he was on this earth and is not behind anything they do now. So neither do I.

It seems that it is okay for JWs to take action on political issues in the government court systems around the world, but for some unclear reason certain other political actions are prohibited.

No I would not as my God and his son have told me to be no part of this world. God has left man to his own rules and regulations and the consequences and he condemns it all. So why would I feel the need to go beyond my God's rules and get involved?
I think to speak out against injustice - for example - to oppose it when you can, to take action when possible, or to support those who face it and those who actively seek to tackle it - it strikes me as morally sound behaviour. How many Christians have put themselves in the way of danger or even forfeited their lives while taking action against what they see as wrong or unjust or evil?

And it's never ending and just gets worse and worse. The Bible says mankind is like a restless sea ever tossing here and tossing there and never settled with anything.
I just heard on a talk radio show a couple hours ago that there is "tweeting" by some accross this great nation of ours that IF Obama does not get re elected that riots will be started. What the heck good will that do? Really stupid stuff going on over here my friend.

If man has not fixed it by now? Get the point? And again Jesus refused to get involved then and I'm sure there was much more injustice then, then now. Again I put no trust in man to solve anything. I'm waiting on God and his son to solve it all.

What about all the good stuff going on in the world; positive people working together to do good things? Why do you never focus on such things? It seems like your spiritual mind map just renders you 'overwhelmed', passive, perpetually misanthropic and negative. Do you at least concede that you might come across in this way?

And yet you post so frequently to say that things are getting worse and worse and worse... indeed just a few moments ago you said "And it's never ending and just gets worse and worse". Now here you are in the very next post with: "I'm sure there was much more injustice then". Which is it to be?

The Titanic was a beautiful ship was it not? Awesome architecture with all it's wonderful designs with marble and shiny stuff.
But if you just stood around and marveld at the beauty of the Titanic as she was sinking and in real troube, guess where you would have ended up?
Yes the world does have some beautiful things in it too and there are millions of good people here now. But it's going down and the Bible has confirmed that with it's prophicies. The signs are clear to those who "WANT" to see them.
But just as many no dobt argued that the "Titanic just couldn't really sink" found out the hard way.

Do you not think that in a few countries things are somewhat better with social injustice then in Jesus's time in the area he was in? On the surface sime things in our everday life's are better with more freedoms. But the over all world is in turmoil and is going down. This country here as well as others are about to explode at the seams and according to the Bible even the gold we hold so dearly too for security will be worthless and thrown into the streets before long.
