But, she and I had similar friction between us at first also, until I saw I was being judgmental. We've learned to make allowance for each other, and we have very little of this friction left at this point. I felt maybe you could take the lead in the tolerance department and perhaps showcase some Christian 'love' for your fellow man.
Valid points. God is my judge as well as yours. Any issues I've ever had with another believer have been resolved privately.

Are you able to understand a redneck like me when I use a little slang? I am one of the more educated rednecks with 2 years of college plus some military education.

I hope you understand me when I say that I do not support the oppression of any people and I do not think the majority of Christians support such a thing.

I know that many of the people of Israel are atheists. Why should they believe in a God that does not keep His promises? According to their prophecies a messiah should have already come to fulfill those promises, but He hasn't. Despite this, some continue to hold out hope.

For everyone who maintains that Israel "oppresses" Palestinians, there is another who maintains that Palestinians are attempting to steal Israel's homeland.

Please understand that this is mainly why I have resisted posting on this topic. I have no wish to argue with you, especially about this.

The question remains, does Israel actually "oppress" Palestinians, or is Israel merely defending their homeland?

Anyone who's qualified and not blinded by prejudice should be able to
discern that I can write English very well. Some professors of English
have said that I can write better than they do. Occasionally, I get
into some trouble because of my unfamiliarity with an English idiom.
(Grampy Bobby tends to write poorly in English, often stringing words
together into sentences that seem to make little or no sense.)

Could you give me two of your strongest examples of this accusation's accuracy ?

Where did GrampyBobby write poorly in English ?

Well, in defending their nation, they may do things that oppress the Palestinians. However, I believe it could be remedied if the Palestinian Authority were not so unreasonable. It is my oppinion that the Palestinian Authority will do anything to get their way and using the oppressing of the Palestinian people as a sympathy getter is just another tactic that they do not wish to give up.

Maybe, part of your problem with being biased and objective as a historian is that you do not go back far enough in history.

As I said, I do not wish to argue with you, and therefore I withdraw my participation in this thread.
