The Jews were entrusted with the "oracles of God". Right? Says so right there in the Bible. Romans 3:2b 2 ..: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
And were did the Jewish family of God begin? With Abraham. What happened just before Abraham? The tower of Babel. Why did God confuse their languages?

Yes, the ancient Hebrews produced religious literature for themselves in which they portrayed themselves as "God's Chosen People" and in it they justified the genocide they committed against the Canaanites.
