-Removed-There are many in this forum who claim to be Christians, but may yet not be.
As you stated, in his first post, he claimed, " I have always considered myself a Christian....but blindly went through life not realizing that a lot of Christians worship Jesus as God." Unlike you, I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt as to what they say online, who am I to claim they lie? Do I know them better than they do? The quote above just screams that he is a struggling Christian, still struggling with the questions that confound most Christians at first, before they work through them. I only come to any conclusion about people after they have said enough to substantiate what they are really about. And even then, I am cautious, because many people project a different persona online than how they would seem if you met them face-to-face. The forum combatants can never see this, though, they stick to their first-blush knee-jerk reactions as if that is the only thing possible to believe.
In cheney3, I see a man, perhaps a Christian, perhaps not (many people who call themselves Christian have never been born again, my own mother was one of these), but a man who believes there is a Creator, but doesn't have a clue what motivates Him. This is the common result of a person having something they consider a "religion", but it has no force, no motivation for them to seek higher authority. If cheney3 is serious about finding out about Christianity, he should seek those who have made it their life's work. He should canvass church leaders. Go to church once in a while, and see what there is to see about modern Christianity.

What does it matter what chaney3 claimed in his first post when his true colours have since been on display? I don't think chaney3 is a Christian. divegeester doesn't think chaney3 is a Christian. chaney3 doesn't think he's a Christian. But you do, why is that?
