Well, I certainly did not ignore his request for examples. We shall see if he decides to respond to my offer. If he doesn't, people can make of it what they will.

I certainly did not ignore his request. I offered him something else instead; it is something that seeks to move this long-standing dialogue between sonship and I onto a new footing; it is an attempt to move the conversation forward.

He has the opportunity to clarify what he means by "followers of Satan", to clarify whether or not he condemns them, and to clarify how this definition and perception of them relates to the non-believers he exists amongst in this community, and then he could have me retract any suggestion that he has ever denounced me or people with beliefs like me.

It is my impression that he has, but I am willing to accept that I am in error and retract and desist if he takes this opportunity.

I used his request as an opportunity to make this conciliatory offer and generate a renewed understanding of each other that goes beyond banter.

I await his response.

Well I am not trying to distract you. I am being very clear and I am addressing what you feel are "lying accusations".

Indeed, I am willing to declare my accusation nul and void, an error, and retract it... and I will apologize publicly to you for it... if you would clarify what is your perception of me in so far as my connection to "Satan".

If you state that you do not see me as being a follower of "Satan", you do not claim "the Devil" is my leader, you do not claim I am doing "Satan's" work and you do not condemn the "work" I do here, such that it is, and you do not claim that I am a member or a follower of "Satan's rebellion"...

...then the accusation will be retracted and the apology will be forthcoming. It will the biggest climbdown by me that I can remember - and quite unlike anything Senator McCarthy ever did. You are one post away from making it happen.

Lots of people here who don't like to me examining a biblical theme, say I'm too verbose for them to read through.

I doubt that you have the attention span adequate to examine a multiple faceted subject like this.
