Of course not. Be good in your own eyes to your heart's content.

In the end your life is totally meaningless. Once you are dead it is done. Anyone you have come in contact with will be within 100 years after you die meaning even your influence will die put soon enough.
Meaning and immortality seem very important to you.
No wonder you appear so bitter.

Tell me what meaning you will be aware of after you are dead.

No one knows what happens after physical death.
I cannot pretend to know, like many others here do.

What does not being aware of anything after one is dead have to do with the meaning that one derives from being alive?

So as far as we know, none.

Your god is the author of evil. Go read it your holy book.
I have read cover to cover, I have listened to it cover to cover, written it by hand and studied it for over 30 years. As soon as God defines good, evil becomes all outside of that definition. Your complaint is a bit meaningless.

How then did you miss Isaiah 45:7?

'I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.'

That doesn’t change anything I said it confirms it.

I am glad we agree that your god creates evil.
If the fruits of your works are evil then god is evil.
Doesn't change a thing.

God's definition of evil is different than ypurs so ypur comments about what the Bible means is totally incorrect.

Funny how people use the same term to mean different things and they think they are actually having a useful conversation.

No, the fruits of God’s work is all good, all works outside of God’s, is by definition evil. So to reject God and His way is to walk in the way of evil.

So, in your religious world evil is good if goddidit.
And good is evil if god didn't do it.
Seriously, if that makes good sense to you then you need professional help.

Evil is only possible due to free will. The wrong use of free will is evil.

No, God is good, and by that good without flaws. He can’t get better and He can’t get worse, unlike us, we are consistently moving forward without regard. We can call what is in reality evil, good because we like it, and hold in distain what is really good, evil because we don’t. We can hold others accountable to our sliding scales of good and evil by condemning some and excusing others for the same thing.

Sorry Kelly but you're going to have to explain that one. The passage I highlighted says God created evil. How does that not change what you said about evil being outside of God?
