Is it only up to us to believe in God through the use of scripture, or does God play an actual role in this in our lives? Scripture says God does play an active role.
If God plays an "active role" in our knowledge of Him, then why many gods? Why Buddha?
My point, a Creator exists, but how can we truly know Him? Only through the Bible.
Maybe you are biased because of your upbringing, or location of birth?
Hindus would likely disagree with your opinions of God.

God is the best part of Christianity.

Why are you right?
Why are the Buddhists wrong?
If you are honest, you would say that your opinion is based entirely on the Bible, which others would not share the same perspective.

With my life God became real to me before I started studying the Bible. Once saved I read and copied the scripture by hand, because I believed it to be the Word of God, not the work of man.

Judging by what I see on these boards regularly, I see far more 'misanthropy' in you than I ever see in him.
