No, I will warn you that God does not put up with sin, and those that keep that over God
will end up in Hell, and with everything I have read about it, it will last forever.
Eternal punishment for mortal error is an evil act. We all do good and bad, every one of us. It is the direction we are moving that matters. Karma is much healthier than heaven/hell, psychologically speaking.

Eternal punishment or any other type is laid down by the authority that judges and the type
chosen will fit the crimes if just. An Eternal punishment can only be given to eternal beings
and that because they simply will be there going through it. We don't get to pick what we
like in reality because it sounds better to us than what is true.

Forgive me if I should already know your views. Newborns are without sin, and if your gods say otherwise then I am their enemy.
They can be innocent with respect to what they do and can do, what they know and can
know, but the nature they are born with is still there.

That is why I cannot respect your god. It made us with its infinite power and wisdom, and we are guilty of sin for being born!

Your god apparently cares more about being worshiped than about our moral standing. I know evil when I see it.

I like that point. We are eternal too. So what matters is what we choose to stand for. This king god that values worship more than morality, that demanded human sacrifice, that is a hebrew god and not a god for others, this god I cannot worship. Despite its threats of horrible punishment based not on my morality but on my belief system. Got it where it hurts!

The golden age of the horrors produced by the abrahamic religions is passing. Big spasm of pain coming first, I know.

What does eternal mean to you?

Why do you ask?

You will be judged on what you do, the nature we have causes us to behave the way we do. The thing you need to be aware of is that God has made away for us to be saved through Jesus. Our guilt will condemned us, with out Jesus' grace.

You know what God values how? The God of the Bible prefers us being loving over sacrifices. You are free to reject God and die in your sins, it's always your choice.

I understand that is your belief. From your first sentence, you don't seem to be a noxious christian, and you fail to recognize that people are capable of behaving well even when they are not christian.

The whole jesus thing is weird. Your king god had to let his demi-god child be tortured to death in order for your king god to forgive people for being people - which is exactly as your all-powerful all-knowing creator king god made us to be!

The evil of your king god is obvious from the old testament. I see the new testament as a desperate public relations makeover.

The bible you read and value so much is not an accurate representation of the sources from which it was culled. Besides the formidable translation difficulties, there are many sections missing, stripped out by councils of men with political objectives. Believing this book has any importance beyond some historical trivia and some kindergarten wisdom is a personal problem, and those beliefs do not deserve respect.

You just claimed to know what your god values. Has it spoken to you?

I believe people come in all shapes and sizes and colors, with some being better than
others. That said, when we compare ourselves by our selves that is deceptive in that our
'good' people may not counted good when God is looking for perfection. Since it is written
that all of us have sinned, and that we have all fallen short we are left with the knowledge
that none of us on our own will be good enough. So God condemns us all, but with that
has made a way for every single one of us to be saved, but many reject God's salvation
because they think they are good enough on their own, they think they can earn their
way into God's kingdom by working for it, or they got some other path they pick over Jesus
Christ. I'm tired of you calling the One who saved my soul evil so we can stop here.

People have free will. We don't need saved.

No one has heard from your gods for thousands of years. Except maybe koresh or jones et al.

I never said jesus was evil. Bail if you want, under false pretense if you need.

You remind me of my alcoholic brother who saw the light. God stopped him from drinking. I'm like good for you all the way, but you did this for yourself. Give yourself credit for getting sober. But he could not do that.
