Matthew - 28 chapters,
Mark - 16 chapters,
Luke - 24 chapters,
John - 21 chapters.

You should be able to list the chapters about Christ's life and teaching not "during His ministry" even while giggling.

Still giggling ThinkOfOne ?!

The portions of the four Gospels representing deeds and words of Jesus NOT "during His ministry" are ____________ ?

I had finished, but this got me started again.

Anyway, I posted a response to your initial inquiry on page 8. 2nd post from the bottom.

That's ToO's way of admitting that he cannot specifically point out the parts of the Gospel that were NOT "during His ministry."

I would advise everyone debating ThinkOfOne to stop allowing him to argue for Jesus "during His minsistry" until he specifically indicates those parts of the Gospel which are not "during his ministry".

Jaywill is being extremely disingenuous. It's unfortunate, but that's the way he often is. Following is the post to which I directed him:
Please enumerate five or six teachings and deeds from Jesus Christ in the Gospels which were not "during His ministry."

What would be the point of doing that? It's not as if I never pointed out to you the definition of "during His ministry" - not only in general, but as I've been using it.

I overlooked that answer. For the overlooking of it I apologize. I looked for your answers. Now that you say you have one, I will consider it. By overlook I mean I DIDN'T SEE it.

Thanks.
And this better be good.

"I did it before. Go find it" appears as more evasive staling and placing the search burden on me.
LINK to the answer if you already answered.

I was expecting more. This is the reply you mean ??

Do you take us to be fools? As long as it is 100% ARBITRARY what YOU decide is the ministry of Jesus and what lies outside, you can shift the goal post at will, however you wish at the moment.

What is during His ministry and what is not during His minsitry is known then only to you and your moment by moment WHIMS. This answer fails.

And on second thought there was no disingenuousness on my part whatsoever.
I retract my apology.

You argue "What would be the point ...?"
What would be the point in trusting you that whenever convenient you can assign at whim any part of the Gospel to be not "during His ministry"? And that so secretively that there is no systematic consistency in your method.

Was anybody so impressed as to remember ToO's method of determining what lies INSIDE and OUTSIDE of the ministry of Jesus ?

He in essence said he already made that perfectly clear.

Who remembers ? What lies outside of "the ministry of Jesus" in the Gospels according to ToO ?

Surely someone else got it if I didn't.

We come to life, do what we want with it, then die, period. God is the hope people created in the past because they couldn't deal with the concept of death. They couldn't accept that when we die we are just like any other animal, gone, no soul flying to the sky.
So, do the best you can while you can.

Only an atheist would say this.

But, it reminds me of the movie "The Invention of Lying".

C'mon jaywill.

We discussed it not all that long ago and exchanged a few posts on it. I pointed out to you that it's a commonly enough used phrase. That it wasn't like it was a phrase that I made up. I even explained what I meant by it.

This is what you do when you aren't able to formulate a cogent argument refuting what I post: You nit-pick. You did it with "while He walked the Earth" as well. I explained that in detail too. Then you pretended that it didn't mean what I meant by the phrase.

The interesting thing is that other than you and KJ, no one has had all that much trouble understanding what was meant. But then, neither of you have been able to logically refute what I post. It's a cheap way to deflect from that fact.

More like, "Remember?".

As if it matters to you. If you remain true to form, you'll just find another way to avoid addressing the points and of my posts. It's dishonest. It's what you do. It's who you are.

Let me know if you ever gain some integrity. Clearly that still hasn't happened.
