Aren't they all designed to kill another human? None are designed to help another humans health to be better, give us more food, cure sicknesses, make our life's longer, give us more money, etc, do they?

But as has been mentioned here by a few that the world has changed and has become a dangerous place and the absoluete freedom of having weapons has to be regulated by someone. It's for sure the NRA will never do it so all we have left at this time is the government. They are far from perfect but something has to be done. You and your family are in danger just as much as mine they way it is now.
Now a side point. I know there are many things that many here do not agree with on our beliefs. We understand that.
But we do not own weapons unless it is strickly needed for food as many parts of the world make that a necessity.
And it would be a very rare time that any JW would ever kill another human if they did indeed have a gun.
Many condemn us for our stand on this and claim we do not love our families and would let them die instead of killing another human.
But if all the Christian churches on the planet would follow this simple teaching that Jesus cleary taught, that some like RJH cannot understand at all, and would practice what they preach in "love your neighbor" and not to kill, just think of the possibilities?
But when you have these christian religions blessing ones to kill in wars and hope for god's blessings to kill the enemy and be victorious, you have this confusion that ones like RJH have.
We have to love our neighbors as Jesus taught and not add to the crazyness.
More guns will lead to nothing but more death....That is all they are designed for and everyone knows that.
